I'd hate to think how much time, energy and money I spend each summer trying to achieve the perfect summer glow only to be left a rather peculiar shade of burnt orange.

But this summer my prayers have been answered as many of the SS11 shows have embraced the fair skin look from Kenzo, Burberry, Topshop Unique and Yves Saint Laurent.

Many of the looks have replaced colour in the skin to other areas such as neon eye shadows and orange or dark plum lips.

Finally a trend that involves doing nothing... now this I can get use to!

Lady Choo

Tamara Mellon, co-founder of Jimmy Choo, has just been rewarded with an OBE for her dedication to the fashion industry. Looking chic as every in a monochrome ensemble topped off with what else but those Jimmy Choo's!
